ROBERT SCHAPIRO recently retired as an international airline captain after spending 34 years flying around the world.
His career included both military and civil aviation. He has written books for children and lectured on aviation to kindergartners and college students. He has also been featured in Newsweek and interviewed on NBC TV.
Rob now renovates old houses, lectures on anxiety and aviation related topics and makes wine annually from his Sands Point vineyard.Born in South Africa, he lives in Port Washington, New York.
